There is a phrase heard in NY that uses the “f” word three times -it’s the only thing that comes to mind with this pig and his slobbery version of “governing”
A wall would cost at least $40-$50 BILLION, not $5.6 billion. So if the Democrats did “compromise,” Trump would likely just BREAK THE DEAL AGAIN and say, “No, I really need $12 billion.” And keep breaking the deal and pulling back the football so Charlie Brown (Mitch McConnell) ends up flat on his back like an overturned turtle. Trump already proved he can’t be trusted with keeping a deal.
THEY HAD A DEAL. TRUMP ACCEPTED IT. They had agreed to at least open the departments not involved with border security.. Senate Republicans even passed it UNANIMOUSLY on voice vote. What is there to compromise when both sides agreed to a deal and then ONE PERSON (who had previously agreed) then asks to re-do the deal because, boo hoo, talk show pundits (Limbaugh, Ingraham, Coulter, Fox & friends) called Trump names and crybaby Trump caved to entertainers who hold no government positions.
Trump is the one broke the deal, so Trump is the one who needs to now demonstrate “good faith.”
First open the parts of the government that don’t involve the wall and then debate border security.
Trump is Lucy Van Pelt, PROMISING Charlie Brown a good kick.
Mitch McConnell is Charlie Brown, and the turtle ends up flat on his back.
Nancy Pelosi ain’t buying that BS — she grabs the football and says, “I’ll just punt.”
The compromise is a fence. Democrats willing to part with the $5.7 billion to be use for National Security, but not the wall specifically.
This isn’t about the WALL at all. Nice to hear someone else mention that during the 2 years of absolute control by the Republicans they offered to fund the wall for at least $21 b but was vetoed by Trump.
I would consider the threat of unilaterally declaring a National Emergency to be the real danger here.
Along one stretch they noted influx had gone way down with a wall, but then they also added 600 Border Patrol agents in the same sector! Catching those who dug under the wall.
Trump takes the same deal he had 35 days ago. Once again Trump exposed as a lying, empty headed, pathetic dud maker. GOP. How does it feel now to be aboard the sinking S.S. Trump?
