Such a perfectly cute moment here with every frame! Puck, so sweet and so brave, whispering so the kitten can get her much-needed warm sleep; Lupin, so interested from his blanket nest; the kitten, so small!
All together now: dâawwwwwwww!
(And I love Puckâs pajamas, and his little white patch.)
You are very sweet and brave Puck, but judging from the kittens Iâve had, when she wakes up and wants to play, sheâs going to wipe the floor with you!
Iâve never had children but I can imagine parents everywhere echoing dear Puckyâs feelings upon seeing their babies for the first timeâŠ.â(The kitten) is so small and the world is so big!â
Iâve just been checking the BCN store. No âStop being happyâ shirt. No shirt with Elvis and his " Worse with time" graph. Itâs all just cutesy stuff.
I helped a momcat raise four kittens from birth to 8 weeks, and the biggest surprise was that on one particular night, when I went to bed they still looked like very big worms, and the next morning they all looked like teeny-tiny cats.
I have a âthe kitten is so smallâ story yâall might b appreciate. Dianna has four kittens. Britain, the smallest and most adventurous, got âlostâ the other night. (She was at the base of the steps instead of on the porch.) I heard a commotion and went to check, just in time to see Dixie saving the baby. She scooped Britain up in her mouth and brought her up onto the porch. The only thing visible was Britainâs head! The rest of the baby was inside Dixieâs mouth! Dixie was very proud when she spit Britain out in front of Dianna. Neither Dianna nor Britain seemed to be as happy with the situation.
The kitten needs somecat who is brave, noble and selfless to watch over her. Somecat who is ready to be the big spoon and watch âOur IX Livesâ with her.
I must have the name of the BCNâs haberdasher. Their bespoke tailored clothing are always smart, and purrfect for the occasion. What do you thinkâŠBergdorf GoodcatâŠNieman MarcatâŠor a private tailor on Savile Row?
TGIF!! Cuteness overload! Kitten sleeping, wrapped in towel; Puck floof; Puck fangs, because the world is so big; and, of course, the catâs pyjamas!!
By the way, Poppet Bear, I read about the sinkholes in some areas of the BC coast; I hope you arenât in the affected area.
If it werenât so cold outside, Iâm sure Tommy would have been standing guard at the window. Perhaps Tillie and the news crew of RCO are unseen guardians as well.
Yes Puck someone brave, you better go find someone because we know it isnât you as hard as you try. One of the other boys will do. You can curl up next to her and keep her warm, but protect not so much.
Iâm experiencing the âlock outâ when trying to open this page. Then I get a dialog box that says, âA script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.â Followed by an ad URL. I wonât post the URL because it could lead to a bad page.
I have to click âstop scriptâ at least 3 times before I can finally access the page.
This is off-topic, but Iâm pleased to say that Conan has improved a lot in the last two days. His white counts are back up now, and he has been cleared for the next round of chemo. I fervently hope we donât have delays like this too often; I hate to see my boyo feeling bad and I really want to get through all his chemo as soon as possible.
Sweet, precious Puck. <3 An acquaintance found out last week that the 5-month-old tabby kitten she was fostering had the wet form of FIP. She made his days full of treats (well, âadventuresâ) and cuddles. Last night he let her know, by refusing food and water, that he was ready to go. She had her vet make a home visit and said goodbye to him, holding him in her arms.
Hopefully this little girl will have a long happy life. For now, seeing how protective Puck is of her makes my heart swell and my eyes water. The cats we love and rescue have only one flaw â they never live long enough, and their passing leaves holes in our hearts that, while they may be mended, never truly heal.

Youâre no doubt right, Puck. Any ideas where we could get a volunteer? Maybe someone already in their jammies, maybe already standing in the hall?

good morning orb, my cribmate from Fla, a devoted feral cat mom sent this poem to me yesterday (I had my 6th TNR this week).
A Street Catâs Sentiment
I may never be a lap cat,
Or one who comes when called,
I may resist the hand that tries to touch,
And some may thing Iâm flawed.
I may prefer my freedom,
To your warm and cozy house,
I may reject the bowl of finest foods,
For a chance to chase a mouse.
But the box you put out for me,
Feels safe and warm and dry,
And I raise my eyes to thank you,
When I see you walking by.
And I eat the food you give me,
And I listen to your voice,
I may not be a lap cat,
But you offer me a choice.
One day Iâll see the winter,
One day Iâll see the rain,
I may grow old not knowing,
That there is freedom from this pain,
Bit I know you try to help me,
And although my days will end,
I may never be a lap cat,
But I know you are my friend.

You say youâre lookinâ for some cat
Whoâs never weak, but always strong
To protect you and defend you
Whether you are right or wrong
Someone whoâll stand guard for you by your door
Well, it is Puck, babe
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it is Puck, babe.
Well it is Puck youâre lookinâ for, babe. (Bob Dylan, âIt Ainât Me, Babeâ)
