Look, I know it’s not NASA but five kids in the whole camp? And at least two of the appear to be witless prats. Alex should be sent packing for a comment like that.

Someone’s missing. A facility that uses bunk beds should have an even number of kids. ;-)

Oh dear, here comes the nerds…

Considering all the foods and soaps and stuff this place is handing out, I also have fears this place is trying a little TOO hard to appease…

In case anyone was wondering: Tuan did, indeed, go to school with Lottie and Shauna. He was last (and first) seen in “The Case of the Lonely One” (“he’s a right good laugh once you get to know him”) as part of the D&D group with Blossom and Corky, but was taken out of school under circumstances not explained. (It was at some point after the night he and Blossom tried to help Lem take control of Shauna, when Lem was knocked down the stairwell and presumed killed; that was the last time he was shown… until now.)

My ex, her mother and sisters had synchronized cycles. It took about 2 months for me to understand why her father went hunting and/or fishing every month, and sometimes every week when the season was good.

Alex is concerned that if they are sync’d and they as a group are in a pod for an extended time, he is trying to figure out when to ‘duck’.

Alex, for some reason, reminds me (first “glance”, remember) of Data

Basic research doesn’t always pay off immediately. :-)

As expected, Shauna seems to have found the perfect answer to that question!

Such dispassionate questions tend to not be handled well by the people they are directed to. Humans are illogical and emotional so he just forgot how to speak to people. Especially girls.

Indeed, what IS he going to do with the information?

I’ve hung around with scientists enough to know that there’s a factual basis for the stereotype that people interested in science have poor social skills.
