Right at the awkward time when you know that just as you get back to sleep the alarm is going to go off. Should I just get up or what?

And the cat with the bloodshot eyes says “Can you just get up and leave the warm spot for me?”.

The darkest hour is just before I read my comics.

Keurig to the rescue. Happened this morning. Brew one and then can wait for the 12 cup Mr. Coffee to do its thing.

5:30AM why so late? I’ve been up since 4:00.

I usually have to pee about 4am…..but if I get up, I won’t fall asleep again. Alarm goes off at 5. What a conundrum!

I didn’t think Arlo would be the sort to leave water in the coffee maker overnight. Cold water makes better coffee than room temperature water.

I actually leave hot water in the carafe and my cup until I’m ready to make coffee so it stays hot longer. But I’m kinda weird.

if as its been alluded to A&J are retired why the alarm clock? by now they should know their circadian rhythm and make their schedule accordingly. the best coffee is when everything is done fresh

That’s just about the time in the morning the cats start walking across my face to get me up for breakfast – even though the bowl of dry food is still practically full…

Even the cat looks bleary eyed.

Need to teach the cat to turn on the coffee pot :)
