    How do we know the parrot escaped? It could have been stolen, or abducted by aliens, or it died and the owners don’t want to tell their little girl the truth. There’s more than one side to this.

    Basically, the discussion was about the fact that more journalists are “liberal” than “conservative”, and the place where the polls appear is really irrelevant. It’s WHO does the poll that should be the focus. Plus, I really can’t see that many journalists changing their political views in a matter of 3 years. Anyway, the best source for unbiased news about the US is probably BBC World News.
