Seems like Snoopy’s interpretation is the same as The Beatles’ interpretation: all you need is love. Could that be it?

Hey, I knew a guy whose ambition in life was “to own a condominium.” And he was only about 21.

    Sad.

He forgot to say that when it rains, you can raise the roof of the convertible.

Charlie Brown taking a leaf out of a few people’s positivity books, putting himself on a win either way basis – nice work!

Between May and September the World is divided into two camps: Those with convertibles, and those who wish they had convertibles (or motorcycles).

In college our Electromagnetics instructor had a similar philosophy. He was a young guy and played trombone in a small band with his friends.

He said if someone ever told him he was a lousy trombone player he’d just say “Well, I’m actually an Electrical Engineer.” If someone ever told him he was a lousy Electrical Engineer he’d just say “Well, I’m actually a trombone player.”

I think CB should have said “To own a convertible and live by a lake”…because can one really own a lake?

I have a Mazda Miata convertible that’s as old as I am, in car years. (similar to “dog years”) I can only drive it about 6 months in the year, and it hibernates the rest. A convertible is definitely a wondrous thing to have.

The secret of living is to be thankful for what you have, help out your fellow man, take care to preserve our Earth and the creatures on it, take your place in society and be a good citizen, keep your personal spaces clean, speak up when necessary and keep your mouth shut at other times.

The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing. If you can fake that, you’ve got it made.
