In all reality , it’s obvious that Mimi does realize that the girls on her team have other things going on in their lives other than playing in a hastily scheduled softball scrimage.PREDICTION — The club volleyball coach will confront Mimi and the girls parents will tell Mimi she’s quiting if her teamates continue to harass her.

I’ve seen this in high school sports in my area. One softball player did miss weekend games due to volleyball (in truth, she did go on to play top-flight Division I NCAA volleyball).
