John channeling Edward G. Robinson has no effect on Farley.

All dogs know how to “handle” their humans!

I like that compromise….Just don’t lay on the newspaper.

Looks like the kind of compromise I work out with my cats and my chair.

John may own the couch but Farley owns John.;-D

Our dog LOVES the couch!

You get Farley his own couch, he’ll want yours. It’s your smell John.

Our dog doesn’t have an end of the sofa but when someone sits down, she curls up next to them and sometimes puts her head their lap.

Looks like a great compromise to Farley!

And compromise he did.

Okay. Compromise systems engaged. Happy now?

My brother had a Cocker Spaniel named Benji. Benji had a favorite spot on the couch, but it wasn’t for sleeping. If you asked him if he wanted his picture taken he would run into the living room, jump on that spot, and sit in the exact same position. I have several pictures of Benji: different length of fur, different wall hangings – heck, sometimes different couches – but him in the same exact spot in the exact same pose!

I love having a big dog lie on me. My baby girl passed years ago. sigh

When I think of how much Farley loved April, even to his final moments I still cry.

I loved my dogs, but none of them were ever allowed on the furniture, or on my bed either.

Works for me.

My 90lb. APBT would only try to get up on my recliner when I was already in it!

“Now look here, see. I own this couch, see. I paid for it out of my own pocket, see. Your place is on the floor, see” Farley isn’t impressed.

It’s not the couch John. Farley just wanted to be in your lap. Look how happy and content he is.

Tune in tomorrow, where the Enjos will be having Farleyburgers.

A compromise: an agreement where neither party gets what they want, but Farley looks like he came closer.
