What’s wrong with John? He doesn’t want to play ball with his son, or go biking with his daughter, just like always!

Maybe he needs to listen to the commercials and get tested for low testosterone.

I’ll have to go find Elly so she can make some fat jokes at him the way he always does to her.

Maybe John is pulling to many teeth at work and inhaling too much nitrous oxide as well.

Even Dads need some ‘me’ time. Just don’t let it keep you from playing with the kids, even if you’re tired. Playing will rejuvenate you more than resting does.

They both look skinny and are always complaining about being fat..especially the wife!

He needs to go out and get some exercise. Playing with his kids should fill at least part of that subscription.

Memory spark! I remember a few times when my father would take me bike riding. He would put my baby brother on the back of his bicycle in a baby seat, I’d ride on my bike and away we’d go. It’s the only time I remember ever actually seeing my dad on a bicycle.

You got Mokus. That’s where the iron in your blood becomes lead in your azz. You’ll feel better once you get out and about. Something about inertia.

Plus, dad, you’re not a youngster anymore.

If John were to say these things to a doctor, he might get diagnosed with depression.

Don’t worry John. At least you can’t be pregnant!

Well, I guess that eliminates the theory from yesterday that Elly & Connie are going out to spy on Michael & Martha!

It is a common disorder, John, known as depression. I had it in my late 30’s.

Glad I had a dad that did a ton of things with me….I miss him….but he’s with the Lord now.

John doesn’t look overweight to me, in the strip.

Better reconsider not playing with your kids when they ask – there will come a time when they won’t ask (and they won’t need you).
