Love that reaction Roscoe’s showing in that last panel!
don’t enter the house with that shoe, Earl, or Opal’ll have a fit
Earl’s been doing that all his life.
“Hey Earl what’s on your shoe, well I think it’s doggy doo!”
Maybe Roscoe knows who left it there…
For a brief moment, I thought it was Opal calling him for lunch….
I’ve always been wild about nature. . .theoretically. . .like from the porch or through my window. . .
That’s not the call of the wild, it’s the calling card of the wild.
Gotta watch where you are walking especially walking the dog or in the yard.
a little gray poop on….
Funny how fast one can smell it from a foot away.
Reality strikes again!
My idea of the call of the wild is the nearest Hilton, lol !
Earl’s idea of “roughing it” is an air-conditioned motel room with no tv cable access, in Beaver Falls, Pa.
glad I wasn’t drinking anything when I read that last frame… LOL
Cats are much closer to their baser natures than dogs. Cats are considered tamed, not domesticated.
Roscoe: “Hey, I just did that.”
And, you can’t say “shoot” here. The SCOTUS is watching you. But you can say “F**T”.

Has anyone else noticed the strips from the past two days are from 2001?
Well, I guess the bear does…it in the woods.
My brother in law would say stepped in what? quite loud if he didn’t hear what I was saying. If we were out in public I would be so embarrassed. He was a dear and it’s a funny memory now
I can do that right out in my back yard but it’s the neighbour’s dog. Ugly beast too. Reminds me of the Hound of the Baskervilles.
