byzcath said, âI am now following âLiâl Abnerâ on comics.com. Now that âGoochâ is insane, an episode of âFearless Fosdickâ will begin tomorrow. Canât be any worse than this drivel!â
Thanks, byzcath! I always liked Fosdick. Tracyâs not very funny these days.
Happy Anniversary! Itâs been one month since Sam said âThis calls for a maximum effort and that means us. Get into your all-weather gear right away!â
Probable cause for the delay: Sam knows he has to put his galoshes on, but canât remember what they are.
âAmazing Graceâ checkout the words of the song.
Amazing Thick
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now Iâm found,
Was blind, but now I see
âTwas Thick that taught my heart to love
In an Old Granary
How precious did that Thick appear
The hour I first believed
MY CHAINS ARE GONG
Iâve been set free
My Thick , my Savior has ravaged me
AND LIKE A FLOOD, His mercy reigns
Unending love, Amazing Thick
Ah-hah! The romance has moved into roleplaying! The game is âDoctor.â Think will invite his beloved to recline on a couch and talk about his early childhood ⌠his dreams ⌠his heartâs desire ⌠and all the while Thick will move closer to the improvised couch. Then he will offer to show Mordred some inkblots. âWhat does panel #1 remind you of?â heâll ask.
âA granary!â Morbid will sob. âLately all the panels remind me of a granary! Why is that? Itâs horrible! Can you help?â
âYou, perhaps,â Thick will murmur in his ear, âBut Locher? Heâs beyond help!â
Well less that four weeks for the MAGIC to start appearing on those forward strips -.Sunday. March 14. As many have hailed Mike Curtis and Joe Staton
Soon the guys from âRipleyâsâ Believe it or Notââ will be knocking on a door in Napervile to interview the American artist who was first to achieve it.
The trick was to sustain dialogue for near 3 months without any significant story FORWARD movement occuring in the strip.Itâs a lot harder than you would think.
Word on the street is that Locherâs set a ânew recordâ and that the powers are also likey to pick him for the Reuben Award, which he hasnât won yet. A sort of gesture for long service.. Since Lee Falk of Phantom fame passed on Dick at - 81 is the oldest man doing comics.
Look out for one more âappearanceâ of Junior Tracy the âlook alikeâ character of Dicky Locherâs late son John.
Whatever is going to happen next, please donât tell me. I want to maintain the delusion that Locher has given Thick at least a minimal sense of survival. I want to think that heâs conning Mordred in an effort to get some useful information out of him. Not âWhy did you do it, peckerwood,â but âDid you kill anyone else?â and âWhere did you hide their bodies, so we can let their next of kin know about them?â
Otherwise, maybe Mordred isnât going anywhere, but neither is Thick. At least not until Mordred throws his cold, lifeless body into the flood waters.
And I defy anyone to hold their hand the way Thick does in panel #2. Geeze Louise, how hard is it for Locher and Brozman to find a credible example of a human hand? They should have at least four of them in easy reach.
Thick took a correspondence class in Hypnosis. Heâs practicing on Mordred, but doesnât know Mordred isnât in LaLa Land yet. Poor Mordred doesnât know that plenty of crooks would pay big to be one-on-one with Thick. If Al Capone had only been arrested by Thick, and in his custody, heâd be Mayor of Chicago by now,
More stupid thinking. For a serial killer about to be sentenced to life in prison or death, escaping into a storm is a relatively small risk to take for freedom.
ââââââââââââââââââââââ
Lighten up, If you take this story seriously, you are a moron. When the new people do a decent story and art work, you will see the comments change. Right guys?
Weiland, when I first met Detective Tracy, he was a kick-a$$ cop who always got the baddie. For most of my life he was my hero. And then PC crept in, along with a turncoat writer, and turned Americaâs most feared cop into a wussie, who spends his time running from the bad guys instead of at them. The guy canât draw, carry on continuity, and totally contradicts himself at every opportunity. He goes out of his way to make our hero look stupid and unfamiliar with established law.
You betcha Iâm looking forward to a rebirth of Tracy! And Iâll clap, hoot, and stomp if he behaves the way he was intended. And if the new writers make a PC wimp out of him, my comments will reflect my displeasure! Count on it!
Of course we are . Why do you think we have so much fun ? We are from the â funny farm â .
For Weiland only , please go to :

For the rest of us , we already did go on that site . Donât bother clicking .

If this were the Wizard of Oz,
Mordred would be the âWicked Witch of the Westâ (Evil)
Thick would be the âScarecrowâ (No Brain)
That is why he is going to undo the chains
Tell me why youâre a killer!!! Give me a break. Why is the sky blue. Why is the earth round.
Tracy could sing an old Tom Jones song, Delilah and change the wording and say:
Why, why, whyâŚâŚ..Mordred!!!
FLIGHT SUIT about 14 years ago
Donât worry; thereâs no way Dickâs dumb enough to remove the chains!

why would Spacy care about such a thing? Completely out of character. Gouldâs Tracy would fight murderers, not analyze them.

Ye old granary looketh like the ruins of Blarney Castle. The whole comic strip is a ruin and full of Blarney ⌠it fits.

Tracy MUST remove the chains, because Mordred has to use the bathroom. The alternative in unthinkable.
