Well, how do you like it Curtis? Bob, I hope that isn’t Quikrete. Add saliva, and you’ve got a problem.
Mark! Mark! Mark!
Curtis is not going to be drinking for a while.
Curtis is not going to be barking for a while either.
Susan. I hope you had a wonderful birthday!
Needs more gravel.
Yes. Yes, he does.
He will find it a binding experience.
Bob tried to tell him…. he explained about concrete and cement and aggregate and sand and all their permutations and combinations…
But Curtis doesn’t pave driveways, build barbecues or worry about what’s under the floor.
Human infrastructure is just there. You walk on it, chew it, dig in it, sleep on it….
You don’t worry about how to create it…. cos you don’t even know it was created.
If it disappears… breaks, burns up, gets given away…. it’s NOT there…. move on.
So Curtis is only interested in two categories.
Edible/not edible.
He doesn’t understand reasons.
If you can’t tell whether it’s edible…. eat some and see.
He’s about to learn some hard facts.
Meanwhile…. I want to thank everybody for the wonderful birthday party…. especially StelBel, if you see this, Stel…
but also YOU….
If you stopped by, left a comment…wished me a happy birthday….
Wow, you helped make it great.
I didn’t expect it, and I was thrilled..
I went out for a while this evening… had dinner with a friend whose birthday was also recent.
Didn’t get home till the page had turned on the comics
I tried to catch up… Hope I didn’t miss thanking anybody or replying to your comments, even if I did it late.
Believe me, I’m grateful for every one of you and every word!
Curtis learned a very hard lesson…..
Cement is just one component of concrete. Yet people look down at the sidewalk and call it cement. Cement is just the “glue” that holds the other components in place.
And Bob.. wondering what Curtis thinks of it.. will have a go at it himself.
This was a real laugh out loud for me. Great comic!
If you break it you bought it. Wonder what bob’s going to do with a partial bag of cement.
Now if he can poop where the new sidewalk is formed up, Curtis may have found a new career.
“Tell me I have a cold nose now…”
Now Curtis is officially a hard nosed newshound … or a concrete news carrier.
Will it stick to his ribs?
That’ll really plug him up, I think! No amount of eating grass will help!
BOB still oves him, but, Curtis is not too bright.
Curtis has been watching “Bizarre Foods” and took Andrew Zimmern’s statement, “If it looks good, eat it!” a bit too much to heart.
Curtis won’t be breathing if he keeps this up.
Curtis is definitely a member of the “learn by doing” crowd.
