Reminds me of a weekend vacation when I was a kid. Years ago, we had some relatives that owned a cheap motel in the Catskills (that’s the mountains just north of New York City, for those unfamiliar). We spent a weekend there once. I loved it. My mother did not – no bugs, but the place was old and a bit run-down. We never went back.
Wyoming Tribune Eagle columnist this morning told of (when a boy) finding the rockpile where the family cat had hidden her kittens. His sister reached in and sadly reporting that one of the kittens was dead. So they went to work pulling out rocks and finding that, in fact, all the kittens were alive. It was the large mouse next to them that was dead.

It was probably a Palmetto bug… and at least it was dead.

Mr Johnson didn’t have to put white around Arlo’s bed stead and fingers.

Why get upset about a DEAD roach—-that means the pesticide is working. It’s the LIVE roaches that are the problem.

In the past, Gene’s father in law, Gus, was couched as a first class grouch. Lately his altruistic side has been played up.
