I think Elizabeth deserves to get in trouble too. Mike shouldn’t call her names, but that doesn’t justify locking him out and taunting him from his bedroom window.
I read ahead a bit yesterday. If Lynn really did say she wasn’t going to include April in the reruns, then we should know by the second week in September. The first mention of Elly’s pregnancy was on Sept 8, 1990.
Lynn’s Comments: This never happened to my brother and myself, nor to my own kids. I just thought it was a plausible outcome. I was following in the footsteps of Farley Mowat. When I asked him (referring to his book “Never Cry Wolf”) if he actually ate mice, he said, “If it didn’t happen, it SHOULD have.” Truth and artistic license blur sometimes when it comes to a good story.

that window is coming out of your allowance, Michael (better run home, Lawrence, and leave Michael in the dust)

If any of their teachers are seeing this, they are probably thinking “Were we too hasty in giving these kids a passing grade?”

“I think she is coming loose”? I’ve never seen someone use anthropomorphization on windows, not in the English language.

Yes Michael is doomed-he will wish school was back on. Oh maybe summer school would be a good partial punishment. He doesn’t have enough to do.

Not sure why he should be in trouble about the window. It was an accident. He was locked out and trying to get in. Now, the name calling……

Looks like Elizabeth, Michael and Lawrence are all going to share the cost of the window.
