Say, were there any intermissions in western movies or is that an Indian movie only thing? If I recall it right, I saw an intermission notice in Godfather part 2 while watching it on TV.
I think there are several types of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, a genetic defect that affects collagen and connective tissue integrity. Symptoms may be mild such as “loose” joints or severe to the point of causing death directly or indirectly through infections.
They also used to roll those movies again right away. The saying, “this is where I came in” stemmed from that. People would go into a theater, sometimes just to get out of the heat, and watch a movie from the middle.
In the early 70s there was a re-release of “Gone With the Wind.” My Mom took me so see it, and it was playing at the theater where she saw it as a girl. There was an intermission and GWTW music played softly. Certain movies really need to be seen on the big screen, and that’s one of them!

That’s because there were no long end credits during the 1900s.

Why do you think they were called “trailers”?

Why would Garry think we’d want to see that? Extra skin’s why I wear a t-shirt at the beach!

They used to be (properly) called ‘previews’. No idea when or why the started being called trailers. That’s what you drag behind a truck.

Ok, our anus is hidden all the time! I remember when trailers were last. Now that skin thing is just creepy!

Rather sad to see GoComix so willing to remove completely innocuous comments without explanation or justification.

Because you (or someone else) clicked (intentionally or accidentally) on that flag to the right of the comment?

Big deal. I had a girlfriend who could make hers disappear if I made the wrong suggestion…

I thought a movie trailer was a vehicle for Cinema on Wheels. Great flick!
