I am betting the cinnamon was used to mask the odor.

SW last man on Earth seeks warm body for quiet evenings in shelter. No walks on beach!

Scientists keep digging up graves. The sanctity of those graves was lost after how much time? Is there a standard. Those burying their dead now, should they know their loved ones graves could be defiled by people in the near or distant future?

I’ve seen the geese coming up my road cross to the other side when they spot my concrete alligator in the front yard!

We need several of those drones for our town. Darn Canadian Geese leave so many droppings where people recreate. It’s disgusting. Yet for some reason, despite their population, the geese are protected by law. :-(

Using the drones over beaches and broadcasting wolf whistles resulting in slapping sounds you could hear for miles…

Cinnamon is not necessarily sweet, but westerners are used to find it mainly in sweets, thus accompanied by sugar. In the arab world, cinnamon is also used for meat and rice dishes. There are 300 different varieties of cinnamon trees. The two main varieties today are Cinnamomum verum (one of the sweetest varieties) and Cinnamomum cassia (a more bitter variety). Not only did ancient Egypt import cinnamon (and also the above mentioned verum and cassia), but also the Bible reports, that Moses was ordered by God to use both real and cassia cinnamon for the preparation of embalming oil (Exodus 30,22–25, “sweet-smelling cinnamon … and … aromatic cane”). In Egypt, cinnamon was used as a spice, as an incense and as an ingredience to produce anointing oil.

I wonder how many tries it took for the Antarctic folks to get it right.
