I kinda feel the same way when I use my military discount. Usually they are very careful to say, “Thank you for your service” which I appreciate, BUT….
Serving in the military was an honor, it was the best thing I ever could have done for myself at 19 years old and I’m the one who should be thanking YOU, since you’re the one doing something nice.
