What sort of short memory does Jon have these days? He’s known Liz for decades and she couldn’t stand him for most of that time, so I’m assuming she would not have liked him at school either.

Jon could have added her refusal to the twenty-two others he got.

So I guess the implication is that she would NOT have gone with Jon then, but NOW she is so desperate she’ll even date Jon?

‘Flossing her cat?’ That’s gotta be some kind of euphemism. Actually doing it could hazardous to your health.

Garfield must have been watching " Are You Being Served " reruns again and listening to the “Older Sales Ladies” comments .

I had a feeling there would be interpretations of this part of the cartoon in this section before ever having seen any of it (the section): “FLOSSING HER CAT”

In highschool, Liz would’ve chosen a guy who’s not clumsy at DIY’s and has better taste in music and clothing.

Liz is finally expressing the second thoughts that she’s had all along.
