Interesting how suddenly cigarettes have become a topic in this strip. I don’t know anyone who smokes nowadays. The ones who did quit years ago.

Thanks to my hayfever I’d have sneezed that house to smithereens.

Besides smoking look at that gut, looks like he’s quite obese as well. Poor chap better go see the doctor while he can.

Vaping has replaced cigarettes as “cool” among the young folks. I actually saw a Hookah shop here yesterday. Wow….

All these messages and activism won’t do any good. As long as cigarettes are easily available at stores everywhere, people are just going to buy that. Even the horrible cancer pictures which cover almost 90% of the cigarette packs over here, that hasn’t stopped smokers from smoking. If the governments are really serious, they should just ban the cigarettes. Of course, this would lead to a dark market and smuggling, but many smokers may give up due to lack of availability and supply and atrocious prices. But naah, it generates a lot of tax money, so, let the citizens suffer, huh? And not to mention the tobacco industry lobbyists.

All those pork products would kill him anyway.
