Surprised that Earl can still eat peanut brittle at all, much less eat that much!

Always blame the supplier, never the user.

Hide the small pieces of it in many different places. Earl will probably find them all, but it will take a longer time.

I bet you could get Earl to give up peanut brittle if you got him the kind that has plastic snakes popping out.

If you can’t hide the peanut brittle better, hide his teeth. That’ll slow him down.

Opal should break it down to one serving sizes and hide it in multiple places throughout the house. If Earl eats it all, he will have spread out the time while he looks for it all.

The peanut brittle he got for Father’s Day back in June? This year, I hope!

Opal, break it into pieces first, wrap each piece, then hid them in different places, so that he can’t find them all at once.

My husband and I just love peanut brittle. It never lasts very long around here when our daughter makes it every year at Christmastime and brings a really big bag of it over to our house after she does. She gave me the recipe years ago but I’ve never made it because I’m afraid that if I do, the temptation of having it a lot more often than just once a year would be far greater than our waistlines would like ….. or could possibly handle! ;-)
