Click Click. That doesn’t sound like “low on gas.” You have a flat battery or poor connection at the leads at least. The ‘click’ is the power getting to the big switch (solenoid) that sends the starting amps to the motor, but there is not enough to do anything beyond this. Charge up or replace your battery. And check the connections are clean.
Dear diary, today we went out on the boat. It was a chance for my family to meet Michael. We ran out of gas. Mom was trying to be helpful. I just wish I could die.
After this adventure, I would bet that oars and a 2 way radio become standard equipment on that boat. And he will never leave the dock without filling the gas tank again. Alas, we will never know because the subject will never come up again.
Man, what happened to the days when we chuckled at a cartoon – that in real life still didn’t make sense… but it was funny and we didn’t get into a tizzy over it? Some people just take too much too seriously too often.
my friends Dad ran out of gas twice while I was boating with them… Hed tie a rope to himself and swim forever trying to pull the boat. Finally another boat rescued us!

Do you at least have a radio on board to contact someone or is Michael going to have to swim for it?

Get away from that wheelbarrow. You know you don’t know nothing about machinery.

Man’s point of view: Why do you sound like a nag? Woman’s point of view: You never hear a word I say unless I nag. Circle of life.

Somebody should probably be thrown into the lake. Not quite sure who the right candidate is.

I’ll bet that the gauge with the gas pump on it is reading Excellent… Boats of that size & style generally have them.

Father is a (bad word) and Mom needs to take charge. AND he does not know anything about engines or boats and probably anything worthwhile.

This is a good opportunity for Michael to cuddle with Martha to keep her warm.
