    The original name was “pianoforte”. Both “piano” and “forte” are Italian terms. They mean “soft” and “loud” respectively, referring to the ability of the piano to simultaniously make soft and loud sounds.

    Does “came up” mean that he vomited bits and chunks of alphabet soup alpha characters onto a flat surface or that alphabet soup alpha characters simply floated together in the bowl as he waited for it to cool?
