    The only birds to which Andy prefers to listen are his pigeons.

    @Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , our Hero Mr Andrew Capp is not apreciative of the sound of the seagulls screaching , because of his hangover :o) , when I was a kid our house was not far from the sea and the (expletive) gulls used to keep me awake too , my avatar is of a gun made up of cigarettes that reminds me it will soon be two years since I stopped smoking cold turkey , how was your day? our looks like its going to be another Manic Monday :o{ BCNU pal.

    Living on the edge of the North Sea where seagulls are everywhere, the gulls would send Andy right over the edge. And then they’d thieve his chips and ice cream.

    Seagulls can be a nuisance, and so can Crows. I can hear them squawking as I type this. I’m sure if gulls and crows tasted like chicken they wouldn’t be so damn noisy !:)

    Sea gulls do have a certain poetry about them. But one has to be in the mood to appreciate them. Andy isn’t.

    It could have been worse, they could have taken their holiday on Scotland and woken up to bagpipes

    I’ve never found seagulls lovely in appearance or sound. Just rats with wings.

    Some years ago we went to Myrtle Beach during Bike Week. Several dozen bikers staying at the motel next door to ours, & at 6 am several dozen Hoggers firing up, not one muffler between them!

    If you want to see and hear seagulls, you don’t have to go all the way to the seashore. You can see them squabbling over French fries at the dumpster behind fast food restaurants in town. It is, however, much more magical to see and hear them at the seashore.

    I live in a seaside town and the first thing I hear are seagulls.

    Not too keen on them. Far too many. Just like there are far too many humans for my liking too.

    @Afficionado

    Congratulations on being smoke free for 2 years. You should be very proud of yourself.

    I just stayed in today but tomorrow I might get the bus and go to my favourite beach. Take care, pal.

    I thought seagulls sounded like “Mi-ine! Mi-ine!” as in “Finding Nemo.”
