I haven’t seen Climate Change as the only problem out there from any of the Democratic nominees, and unlike Republicans, most can do this thing called multitask. They don’t have to stop every few steps to take a breath, chew on their gum (or dip), ponder naval lint, think of a way to screw more people of of their rights, and take the next few steps before starting the process over again.
The problem with Climate Change is that many Republicans think that’s someone else’s problem and don’t care since most will be dead, or close to it, by the time it really gets to be a crisis. So they are screwing their own kids as well as everyone else, and there will come a point where no amount of paper, stones, or shiny metal will be able to purchase food, water, or breathable air.
I sure feel sorry for Payne’s kids, if he has any. His art certainly won’t get them into a survival shelter. His commodity of drawing absurd cartoons will certainly have little or no value, especially when he was showing to be part of the cause and not the solution.
Climate change is indeed the #1 issue for life on earth. Earth doesn’t care who’s inhabiting it – dinosaurs, trilobites, one-celled amoebas, robots… doesn’t matter to the planet.
Trump has been in office how long now? Why hasn’t he done anything to address this situation? If the Dems are the problem, why doesn’t the GOP step in? Mr. Trump is good at declaring a “national emergency” and getting money for his pet projects, like imprisoning children at the U.S. southern border? So, what’s the problem? Guess doing nothing, and then blaming the Dems. is the GOP’s way of getting more votes?
No crisis, no fired up fearful angry base. No fired up fearful angry base, no votes. No votes, call in the Russians to make sure things don’t go the wrong way. No problem. /s
When climate change clearly manifests as the existential threat to the human race (and anyone paying attention to what’s happening in Greenland can see that’s not too far off), people like Payne who prevented action from being taken when it mattered should be treated like war criminals.
I doubt the people in Nebraska will say “at least the economy is strong” while they are unemployed and starving due to crops failing from drought.
I doubt the people in Florida will say “I’m glad the government got tough on crime” while their cities are under water from more frequent hurricanes and sea levels rising.
I doubt the people in California will say “well at least there is a border wall” when the wildfires burn their houses to the ground.
Hey, Hanky, until January of this year, 2019, the Governorship, Senate and House were all controlled by Republicans. Michiganders finally had enough of Rick Snyder and his multiple scandals that they threw him out, but the Republicans still own both houses. You’re a bigoted, ignorant tool.

Once again Mr. Payne is siding with the racist in the White House.

Whatever problems exist in Detroit totally prove that climate change is a Chinese hoax. The VSG is right again.

What is VSG? (Google offers many suggestions)

I didn’t know solving urban distress was a Republican priority. Oh, it’s not? Then what’s the point of this stupid cartoon?
