Perfect timing guys! So sweet… And NO, John, YOU didn’t messed up! Ok, Alex is going to be really mad at you first (and get all drama king on you) but he’ll soon turn against the right people. They’ll ALL going to get really mad at this dear Joe. And with such a team on your side (just look) , I wouldnt want to be in his shoes…
What is his line of work? He usually comes home from work dressed professionally, and travels on business from time to time, so I think along the lines of architect or engineer, possibly a chemist. At any rate, if he’s as good at whatever as Joe said he is, and in our current employment market, he should have no problem. Heck. Send a resume to MY employer, we’ve got offices almost everywhere. I still think Joe will have realized he screwed up by the time he gets home, that he will show before this party winds down, with the papers and a sweetened deal and signing bonus.
This is such a great strip. Beyond the depiction of normality of LGBTQ lives and the lives of their families it subversively begs the question of our assumptions of the Patriarchy and their validity in the twenty first century.
“Tomorrow” is the perfect end line for this installment. It’s been nearly a month now since this came out. What’s going on that it’s taking so long between strips? Illness? Vacation? Other work obligations?

Love the comic, of course. Hating this story arc.

Ahh, the congratulations party for something that now isn’t going to happen so a main character is now keeping a secret. A classic TV sitcom trope!

What’s taking so long to get the next one posted? It’s been over two whole weeks now. I’d really like to see what happens next already.
