My wife stopped wearing high heels at work because of her “arthritis” in her feet. Weird, but the “arthritis” went away. She still wears them for dressy occasions.
The late columnist, Lewis Grizzard, once wrote a piece about neckties; “I don’t like neckties. Ties choke.” That’s pretty much how I feel about shoes. I don’t like shoes. Shoes constrict.
