In college, I couldn’t afford coffee or tea, so I drank hot water – lots of hot water. Although it lacked caffeine, it succeeded in keeping me awake – because of the frequent trips to the bathroom!
I never did understand the concept of pulling an all-nighter to cram for an exam. The best chance I had for passing a test was to get a good night’s sleep.
One of the local tea shops was selling what they called “Cowboy” tea – it was actually a blend of a black tea plus coffee beans. Wasn’t horrid, but it was an acquired taste.
Get enough sleep and you wouldn’t need it. And like cocaine, too much caffeine and your body adjusts to it until you are just keeping the withdrawl symptoms away.

personally, I would’ve gone with Pepsi, but the belching — if loud enough — would keep everyone else awake

Coffee has more caffeine if you drink the beverage; tea has more caffeine if you eat the leaves.
(But don’t eat tea bags.)

My Nuclear Coffee got its’ name when my son was in High School
He got a job working overnight and went to school during the day
After the first day he told me “If I’m going to keep doing this, I’m going to need some of your Nuclear Coffee”
The name stuck

Ah, the days when one could drink a cup of coffee after 6pm and not toss and turn until 3am.

Get a big bag of BBQ Corn Nuts, too. The crunching makes so much noise it will rattle your brain awake. That is why they are in every truck stop.

The coffee-tea arc. This was a doozy.

When I was in college a friend from Malaysia introduced me to coffee-tea, a tea bag steeped in a cup of coffee. It was actually not bad.
