These are eggs that were broken out of their shells before placing in the container. So advertizing decided to call it cage free instead of runny eggs.
Maybe 3 years ago, I read an article about the terms used in marketing eggs. The author concluded we should buy either the cheap eggs, which are from hens in cages, or eggs from pasture raised hens, with “certified humane” recognition.

It’s simple really. Those eggs were free-range. Then they were caught and placed in that egg carton cage.

Which came first, the chicken or the not giving a damn where the egg came from?

They picked the egg from the manure pile. (I’saw that happen, while living in a town in Germany.)

The same with pasture raised eggs or humanely treated eggs.
But, the label refers to how the chickens were treated.

With kids being left in cars to die , it’s kind of hard for me to worry about how chickens are treated.

A cage? How far could they run?

And how does an egg know that the cage comes without cost?

They’re still in their shells.

You can’t save the kids from the parents, but you can save the chickens from suffering!

What about the poor immigrant children in cages? Is that ok because they don’t lay eggs?

The chicken of course.

I will not listen to the animal’s rights people until we stop slaughtering innocent unborn children.
