What a delightful comic today…A father/daughter conversation that seems positive and honest and heartwarming. I wonder how many dads have tried to get closer to the daughters and learn their worries and share their honest concerns.

Are those the chocolate Smarties or the fruity Smarties? If they’re fruity, then they’re not Smarties, but SweeTarts. Fruity Smarties don’t come in blue.

If the blue ones make her eyes pop, the necklace is too tight.

If she’s still feeling a bit peckish after tea she’s all set.

Yup, that would have been exactly what my ex hubby would do with his niece. There would be heck to pay if he didn’t follow the script though :-) My son, who was raised by him has been the same way with his daughter. Both are great Dads. I was lucky enough to have a great one too.
