I see Scooter has finally learned to give Aaron plenty of room to crash and burn.

You never know when a strong gust will come along, and by Jing you want to be ready when it does.

Aaron better get his nose outta the air. He’s walked into a tree, a lamppost and old Mrs. Kamptlerman so far this week. The last encounter resulted in a pummeling about the head and shoulders with an umbrella, which was open by the way.

I hope Aaron thought of a rudder.

Is he a relative of Sister Bertrille, by any chance?

With one flap up and the other flap down, I’m thinking he’ll end up going in circles.

You should be prepared to meet your maker.

That’s unsafe. He’s missing everything needed for a GUMPS check.

As he has all his life, Aaron is still winging it!

His flights of fancy give him [a] lift.

Off he goes into the wild blue spruce. Crash and burn.

Even back in fifth grade… I remember he was always flighty.

Mr. Ambrose would say “Earth to Aaron. Come in, Aaron.”

And I heard him say to another teacher, “That boy has his head in the clouds.”

Aaron is always rudderless. He’ll never learn.

Prepared yes but thank goodness Ballard St Flight Control will not give him a runway.

There was some embarrassment at work when the boss thought those were over-the-top epaulettes, but once he realized the truth, he joined the Ballard Street “Fly Boys” for their monthly meetings.
