At least he looks natty. His coat is spread open over his bum at just the right angle, his inserts have a good edge, his toe squeezes are sharp and his fedora is pulled over his eyes, completely obscuring his vision at the right angle. And most importantly his crotch ends at his knees, as it should. Yep, he cuts quite the figure.
I had to spend a couple of days with a client in civil service. We had to stop work so he could leave at precisely 5:17 p.m. He had, over the years, found that to be the perfect entry point for his commute home. :)

Perhaps he should consider the door.

Eventually he launches anyway, put himself out there, makes the best of it all, and everything turns out all right.

I don’t think there is a correct entry point for me today; I have to be at work at 4:30 this morning.

Perhaps a different carpet pattern would help.

Eventually hunger and thirst will overcome the perfectionist in him.

Marin may be standing there waiting, a long time.

There once was a fella named Martin, who just couldn’t get ‘round to startin’.
When all of the time, to get offa that dime,
he just needed to smell his own fartin’…

You are not alone Martin, perfection eludes me as well.

It doesn’t take much for Martin to doze off!

I find if you can enter through that crack between dawn and 8 am, it usually goes pretty well after that. :)

It’s often said that behind every successful man there is a woman.. so where is Mabel this morning to launch him out the door?

Reminds me of the first verse of Carly Simon’s, “You’re So Vain”…

7 Pm and Martin is still there. Walking by Mabel hears him singing faintly… Lost in the 50s tonight.

Perhaps he should start by choosing his exit point.
