Looks like it’s going swimmingly

Roger’s family has a long history with the Swiss navy.

Roger hasn’t had any oars in the water for a long time

Waiting to smack a certain coxswain upside his stupid head.

Roger is described by some as being one oar short …

Roger is not really interested in nautical opportunities. He just wants the Ballard St women to say Hey there, sailor boy!

Problem is Roger’s size 18 feet and his 52 regular rear…he sank the last two boats he climbed into. Now the sailors in Balkard set sail when they see him coming.

Or maybe, like Odysseus, he is supposed to carry his oar inland until he reaches a place where nobody has ever seen such a thing.

Get walking, Roger. You’ve got a long way to go.

His wife will be furious. She hates him hanging out with that ’oar again.

Roger went paddling with his wife last week – at least he may try using an oar this week…

The question is.. with one oar, will he go clockwise or anti clockwise? Hard to tell if that is a right hand or left hand oar.

Reminds me of how the great hero Ulysses retired. After a lifetime of harrowing adventures at sea with the loss of many boats and crew, he decided to retire. He pledged to put an oar over his shoulder and walk inland until someone asked him what it was .

After many years in IT, I’m going to take a floppy disk and use the same tactic.

(I’m looking for a Land where it is not known, not an individual. I’m not Homer but I thought that was the obvious point.)
