Fortunately for others, Nelson’s environment is limited to his small lot.

My son did something like this on his deck to drive out a family of skunks. That, and lots of buried chicken wire and rocks finally sealed it off! We had a good time trying to get it sealed, but after the second time it worked!

This is unacceptable, even on Ballard Street.

I had a speaker/volume battle with a resident at an El Paso apartment back in 1980.

I won when the neighbor came to my door asking me to turn down the volume as his pictures had fallen off the wall. This was before people would shoot people for any and all reasons. The album was the big buildup intro in Neil Diamonds “Love at the Greek” to Crunchy Granola Suite.

Nelson was an electrical engineer before retirement. He still has a lot of ideas to try.

My, he does intend to be aggravating, doesn’t he?

After coffee at 8:00, and having had three whole hours of sleep, Nelson discovers a supremely satisfying way to provide the Valkyries additional feedback for their crackingly loud party Wednesday night which finally broke up around 4:30 a.m.

After all this prepping…Nelson is too tired to use it……….

Just get a motorcycle, next to getting a diesel pickup, it’s a great way to spew fumes and noise

Looks to me like things are beginning to get out of hand. All that just to get the perfect gasoline-slurping-down-a-funnel sound effect. :) :) :)

I had a neighbor like that once. He was a long haul trucker who when home, parked his big rig about 150ft from my home. He drove a reefer.. that’s a refrigerator truck. He’d bring home a load of frozen stuff, spend the night (with the truck engine and the reefer unit going all night) then wonder why the entire neighborhood was out with the pitchforks and torches by 2 am…
