Growing old together means you might as well BOGO since you are starting to look alike. Men’s pants have a more rational fit and design for older women and they have functional pockets. My daughters have found that men’s boxer shorts are comfortable and make great sleep and loungewear. It is also cheaper to buy clothes out of the men’s department.
And a plugger knows that not all BOGO are created equal. Some sales are Buy One Get One 50% off…which means you’re really only saving 25%. Grocery store around here are even sneakier; they have Buy 2 Get 3 free – which seems great until you realize there’s are reason they don’t list the jacked-up price of the two you pay for. Once you do the math the savings are usually marginal.
I have always laughed at the sale adds stating something like " On Sale Under $15.00 for Today Only $ 14.99 ! " ( Oh Boy ! I save a Whole Penny ! ) and the Sale that states “Buy Now and we will Upgrade your Order to Two! You Only Pay an Additional Fee !” They never tell you what the Additional Fee Is. ???? :-)
