More economical to get into torrenting rather than movie rentals, better for the neural health to look around you with your eyes and learn to navigate by sight, and only worth keeping the extra shopping apps if you’re in close proximity to a supermarket branch where they have loyalty programs…
…or you could simply stick to using a browser

What ticks me off is when they require you to install a quarter-gigabyte app on your phone to do something you can do from a web browser. You know the quarter-gig is just window dressing and spyware.
xkcd had a strip not long ago about an app that turns apps back into web pages. I want it.
