My dog spent 18 months at the Humane Society and to this day Iâm not sure who adopted who. When he passed a friend noted âeverybody thinks their dog is special â he truly wasâ.
My daughter lost one of her rescue dogs yesterday after 12 1/2 years, sorely missed. My dachsie died last year after 18 years, and weâve adopted a three footed McNab shepherd who lost a foot in a coyote trap. My son the vet tech decided we needed a new dog. Heâs extremely affectionate, LOVES kids, and loves going to town with me, the stores all love him.

Unless itâs an old dog, itâll never hit the floor.

Losing a dog is losing a friend and partner, itâs very sad.

At least you donât have to bend down and pick up whatâs become of your food after your dog processed it.

After our last dog died, no one believed me when I complained that the house was DIRTIER than before, but they make great little vacuums!

When my Petey Cat goes to the great kitty condo in the sky I will go to the Humane Society, sit in a room of cats, and see if one will adopt me.

The dog pictured âCooperâ makes us happy every day. We adopted each other five years ago and we arenât sure who was the luckiest!
