That’s nice. It’s not so easy to give a present for everyone you like. Often I give presents I got away to other people and in the end I have no present remaining for myself!!

Hobbes is such a good friend.

We thought Calvin was a bit odd, but, his parents? Getting up early on Christmas morn, the first thing they do is check for disheveled cans in the pantry…?

We opened one present Christmas Eve, the stockings were when we got up, the presents were after Mom and Dad got up and had a cup of coffee along side to bolster themselves. When my Dad remarried after my Mom died, we started opening gifts Christmas Eve, with one Special Christmas Day Morning Gift held back, which was her family’s tradition. And boy, did us kidlets love THAT idea!!! Merry Christmas Day!!! Happy Holidays!!! Blessed Hannukkah!!!

Great idea! I’m going to give my wife a big bag of spicy jerky next year!

Consider yourself lucky, Calvin. Other cats are known to give some slightly more gruesome gifts…

I believe this to be one of those strips that make us believe Hobbs is real. Calvin seems sincere and surprised about Hobbs gift, then the parents confirm that the gift is not imaginary since it came from a cupboard…I love those little easter eggs in this strip.

If you don’t know what to give someone, just give them something you want, and then they’ll give it back to you. Works “every” time.

I sent a Christmas greeting to LeadingEdge on behalf of some us. He was pleasantly surprised and sent a few of the C&H comics he had worked on. Unfortunately, I cannot post these here.
