I don’t think the straight sugar/corn syrup in most candy counts as ultra-processed food. Which does not mean her parents let her eat sweets, but it is not the same decision.

What a miserable child

1- I hate nuts, so I have no sympathy for her right now. 2- people are usually hesitant to give away things that have peanuts or nut products in them since they can get complaints from parents of kids with peanut allergies (I think that’s why Reeses is so desperate to advertise, to compensate for that.)
