I’m about 30 comics deep in my daily subscriptions and this is the first to make me LOL.

I’ve noticed this! Not that they are on phones, since most are young kids, but they stand there and don’t say ANYTHING. Hasn’t anyone taught them to say “Trick or Treat”????

Parents are too busy with their noses in the cell! Teaching them to say trick or treat is the least of their worries…

They’re texting ‘trick or treat’ to each person answering the door. They have a trick app ready just in case.

Just to be the curmudgeon, my experience is that it’s the adults (who invented the things in the first place) who have their faces in the phones more than the kids. I worry when I see parents of young children push phones into their hands as a way of entertainment. No child under 7 should ever even hold one of them. And at that age, they don’t miss them if they don’t have them.

I’d be feeling pez-imistic.
