My dog always lays on my lap!

my neighbor had a rotweiller and 6 cats, the dog would lean against you and growl whenever he came over to visit.

Okay. This one genuinely made me laugh out loud!

Roscoe isn’t quite there yet, but he should jump up on her lap and lick her face….yeah…that’s the ticket….NOT!

It’s the TONE, Roscoe, the TONE. . .real problem is, you’re too big to be a lap dog. Get up on the couch beside her. . .

As Mark Twain might have said, “You got the words right, Roscoe, but not the music”.

Roscoe better get a different teanslater.

I once had a dog (we named him Tiger) who thought he was a cat. He would “purr” just like Roscoe does. He only did it when he was happy.

My dog saw the cat sitting in her cage this morning and must have remembered that meant the cat was going someplace unpleasant. Actually, the cat never leaves the house except to go to the vet. Our dog always prefers a nice nap in the mornings but today she just had to get in the car with us. She’s in the way back and the cat’s in her cage on the front seat but I guess she was showing support.

Our Labrador will groan/moan (not growl) when she wants to go out or get patted.

Siberian Huskies can purr, sort of. They have a lot of other sound effects that won’t be associated with dog sounds.
