But in fact beavers do usually haul off the tree they just knocked over before they start on the next. âCourse they also take mostly trees that are right by their stream or river so they donât have to haul them very far. And yeah, they do their cutting at a nice comfortable height, though they sometimes strip the bark lower than the cut.
