I’m so old that I remember when stores didn’t put out Christmas merchandise until the day after Thanksgiving.

Set before now, but with tech we ain’t got yet. Where’s my flying car?! ☺

I had Space 1999 pajamas when I was little. Oddly, to this day, I’ve never seen an episode.

I like listening to old radio shows, and it always amuses me when a sci-fi story is set in sometime like 1997.

Well Soylent Green is not set until 2022 (though the book it was based on was set in 1999) so you have some time still for that one.
