So, you work on this story for umpty ages and finally finish. Then you read the whole thing one more time and wonder why you spent all that time writing a story even you don’t like. Self-realization can sometimes lead to sad awakenings.
Huh. I haven’t noticed any rejection of self-publishing. Geez, some of these writers suffer from a constipation of ideas/originality and diarrhea of words.
The Internet did not start it but has fueled it to a blazing fire greater than the forest fires of the western states. That is the negativity of everything now days. We no longer discuss why a team won a game but why the other team lost. We find every reason in the world to find fault and nitpick any error in everything that is said and done. In one of the final episodes of Game Of Thrones rather than enjoying one of the finest TV shows (or whatever it may have been) with fantastic acting, costumes, scenery and everything else so many focused their negativity to the face that a modern day coffee cup was visible in one of the scenes and became the entire focus of their attention. People like that should just turn off the TV, quit going to movies and start reading books to see how many grammatical errors they can find. The constant negativity is ruining our lives and unfortunately will probably only get worse.
