Without the eyes you can’t find her. Of course the cats usually have a big black hole for a mouth so if she speaks she is spotted!

Linguistic question: Do Canadians ever say “fall” instead of “autumn”? I ask because I’ve read that the British consider “fall” for “autumn” to be either an archaism or Americanism.

We didn’t really get any fall colors here for Jellybean to hide in. The leaves turned brown instead of orange and a lot of the leaves are still on the trees.

National Button Day. I still have a jar of buttons my mom saved – buttons off discarded, worn out clothing from when we were kids.

Methinks I can see a pair of ears to the right of the tree!

Gweedo suggested I upload a video of the cats in the little house to my youtube channel, so I did. It has the two babies and then Mama comes in about halfway thru.

I used to go walking in the redwoods with my cat. He was really good about answering up when I called, unless he could see me. He was a tabby cat and did not realize I could not see him as well as he could see me. Once I called for five minutes before he twitched an ear and I noticed he was sitting five yards away in full view.

Took me a few seconds, but I spotted Jellybean. All I can see is her ears. I bet Chesney would be impossible to find in all those leaves. On another note, saw some insect flitting about while out walking today. Didn’t see any other animals, unfortunately, probably because of the rain.

I envy you, living so close to the ocean!
