Yep, saw Pilot coming in Monday’s strip. I said I thought Vesper was remembering Pilot tending to Jabberwocky, and the tender care he showed in treating the rat, when she said she might know someone. Pilot’s a natural vet.

I knew her spirit as soon as I saw her, definitely a red fox. We have some who live in our area.
And soon Salem will have her own spies in the forest…
