Lucy is desperate. Just plain desperate. Schroder is a bachelor for life and a blind follower of Beethoven. Ironically, he doesn’t know that Beethoven had dogs.

why does everything have to do with sexual preference especially with comic strips involving kids? Lucy is a PAIN that’s why he isn’t interested. and I agree with the other comments, his love of music is all he wants to deal with right now.

To fry his coffee? I’d picture him getting up four hours before her just to catch an interstate bus in order to get breakfast two states away.
