Things always get out of hand, right Ellie. You’ve been there before.

Even little sisters deserve payback now and then.

I doubt he did it to be vindictive. She escalated the horse play and he responded in kind.

Being the proud (?) possessor of an obnoxious kid sister, I easily and totally take Mike’s side in this………… ‘Course I’m 71 and she is 63, so things are a bit different now………. ;-)

And, once again, Micheal is the evil one. I wonder why Micheal behaves the way he does.

Because it was funny and Elizabeth will live.

Down your back is not as weird as putting snow down her PANTS! That’s more than creepy-weird… :-\

Elizabeth just needed to chill a bit. Michael was just helping her.

Apparently Mike doesn’t know better. But I was still putting snow in girls’ boots in jr. high, so I’m with mike on this one.

If you live in a snow belt, you have done this. You’ve been the victim and the perp. Strangely, there is satisfaction on both sides.

“Snow down the back of the pants” is a classic one. And if I am remembering correctly…a cold, slightly painful one if on the receiving end.

Makes sense to me. But with my siblings one of us never would have run to our parents in this kind of situation. We had formed a very solid alliance in respect to dealing with our parents. None of us would have risked a sibling treaty violation of that magnitude.

Children that run to mommy after they get their comeuppance for something they started, should not get any sympathy.

Y’know, for a fourteen year old boy and a nine year old girl, Michael and Elizabeth are awfully close in height….

Which means it’s OK for you to put snow up her __s?…

Michael — let me revise that statement slightly: “BUTT she put snow down my back — that’s why!”

Fair is fair!

Nothing more humiliating for a little girl than a sibling or peer seeing their underwear, and this is a lot like that. Kids accidentally saw my underwear twice when I was in elementary school, once the dress was too short when I sat on the floor, once the thin cotton shorts split down the seat. Yeah, my mom made some of my clothes, ha ha. I took it kind of hard. Anyway, these kids parents should teach them about boundaries when it comes to underwear-related stuff. Yes, I know it’s a comic strip, a pretty old one at that.

people seem to forget that lizzie always gave as good as she got and it didn’t matter who started it.
