Watching Keith Knights show on HULU WOKE It is hilarious!

As a member of the left-handed complement myself, in one of my essays on the radio <http://howlandbolton.com/essays/read_more.php?sid=462> I proposed the much more appropriate and logical terms ‘LH-negative’ for members of the right-handed majority and ‘LH-positive’ for the superior minority.

My kindergarten was a member of an Italian religious cult that had superstitions about sinister left handed people being possessed and forced me to do work with my right hand.

My grandmother was forced to write with her left hand in school. For the rest of her 93 years, she did everything else left-handed, but wrote with her right hand.

In Latin, “Dexter” means “Right Hand,” and “Sinister” means “Left Hand.”

Yeah I know someone like that in the 4th panel and they weren’t referring to left-handed people either.

One of the best terms for those who can use either hand equally, told to me by another lefty, was “ambisinistrous.”

Left-on!!!!!

Gee, it’s almost like he substituted “r” for “wh”…

I was surprised several years ago by a leftie complaining about all the expressions that equate the left hand with, well, awkwardness and error. But what he overlooked in his grief was that such opinions are because of MY left-handed awkwardness, and that of 90% of the population, which is very real, and means no disrespect for those lucky enough to have a capable left hand!

I guess it’s all ok since the Police ain’t shooting lefty people (yet)

Left on, man.

Calling us left handed is offensive. From now on we want to be referred to as sinister.
