Catalogs can be interesting reading at times, but mostly are wasted on us old folks. We have about anything we need and two or more of some things. (we are beginning to shed the extras) The only thing we get more of is almost weekly solicitations from about every charity or environmental organization that exists – and some that don’t. We give only once a year but the amount surely is wasted in the costs of producing their many letters and brochures.

They work better if you take them apart and was up each page (all the air spaces).

WE don’t get nowhere near the number of catalogs we used to get.

Apparently when Sears began to use glossy paper for their catalog they received some complaints, it was much more difficult to use as toilet paper.

Land’s End is still a thing? I thought they were absorbed by Sears. Glad to see they are still around.

I’m considering weighing my junk mail daily to see what a pile of waste it adds up to over the year.
