Newspaper? Newspaper? What’s a newspaper?

Oh yeah, now I dimly remember.

When I was in high school, I read something about a waitress who was so rude to the customers that they decided not to leave her a tip.

A couple more weeks of this and they may change the name of this strip from ‘Gasoline Alley’ to ’Corkey’s Diner’.

“And now…well…being a Christian woman I can’t say it!” Gee, the diner is turning into a war zone.

this would be a lot more fun if more of the regulars of the strip were dining out there too

Why isn’t Baleen wearing a hat or hairnet? Terry doesn’t wear one either. When I worked in restaurants, once as a dishwasher, and once as a waitress, EVERYONE that worked anywhere near the food or dishes had to wear a hat or hairnet. Someone call the health department!!! If Gasoline Alley even has one, they’d probably send Frank Nelson.

Fourth wall broken!

Almost broke my nose hitting that 4th wall.

Surly customer is messing with the wrong person.

I know the saying goes: The customer is always right!" …

But in THIS case, I say, The manager (‘Chalky’) has the right to refuse service!

AND, he CAN do so, by showing the little snot-nosed counter-sitter RIGHT out the door!! …
